The reason why it sucks is because, I bought a $50.00 game and a $200.00 system from there and I barely played the game or the system so i went back to GameStop, and they gave me $12.00 store credit for the game and $125.00 in store credit for the system. I mean come on ... that is bull, I wanted my full amount that I bought it for to buy some other games, and some additional items for my XBox 360. just to warn you don't sell games or systems and GameStopyou would have better luck at a pawn shop. -- Benjamin S Yeah, I'm afraid all Gamestop places are rip offs, but it's the only guaranteed way to sell your games, and most children are impatient, and want to get money for turning in their already owned games NOW, instead of putting it up on ebay or trying to sell them at a garage sale for a better price. -- Alex B. Well we have been loyal customers to Game Stop. What happened is my son pre-ordered the black ops game, He paid 84.59...The game was absolute garbage he returned the game the very next day and received a $30.00 store credit!!!!! This is in my opinion ROBBERY!!! Is this the way the store makes its money? My son(I)took a $50.00 kick in the ass!The game is then resold for about $60.00. The store manager said that's their policy!! So for all your hard working parents out there watch out for this place. I recommend purchasing games at target. At lease you will get full store credit for returns/exchanges. I will never allow my sons to shop there again, I work way to hard for my money! -- s laxen |
